Your story is yours

You own what you write. By submitting it to iambecause you give us permission to publish it on this site and share it on our social media. We will never sell your story or use it commercially.

Be honest

Submit only your own story. Don’t impersonate anyone. Don’t submit content that belongs to someone else.

Be kind

iambecause is a place of genuine human stories. We do not publish content that is abusive, hateful, discriminatory, or harmful to any person or group. We review every submission before it goes live and reserve the right to decline any story without explanation.

Taking your story down

You can ask us to remove your story at any time by writing to hello@iambecause.com. We will remove it within 48 hours.

Our right to moderate

We reserve the right to remove any story at any time if it violates the spirit of iambecause — which is honesty, kindness, and genuine human experience.
