“In a world that often tries to define you before you define yourself, I chose to stand tall as who I truly am—a transwoman, unapologetically. My journey hasn’t been easy. There were moments when I was told I would be laughed at, reduced to a spectacle, and never taken seriously. But I found my voice in that noise—and I refused to let it be silenced.

Over the years, that voice has taken me places I once only dreamed of. As a journalist, I’ve had the privilege of interviewing prime ministers, sitting chief ministers, Hollywood royalty, and some of the grittiest samaritans whose quiet courage rarely makes headlines. Each conversation has shaped me—teaching me that power wears many faces, and true strength often lies in resilience and compassion.

Today, as a political spokesperson and public voice, I carry those lessons with me. Whether I’m on national television debates or engaging with people at the grassroots, I know I represent more than just my opinions. I represent possibility—the idea that identity need not limit ambition, that authenticity can coexist with authority.

But beyond the spotlight, my purpose is rooted in service. Through the Good Deeds Club, the 600-strong women’s collective I founded, I’ve worked to create meaningful impact—supporting vulnerable women with sustainable livelihoods and helping children hear their world for the first time. These are not just initiatives; they are reminders of why I do what I do.

I’ve stood on global platforms like the European Parliament and Princeton University, sharing my story and my vision. And every time I do, I carry with me the journey of a transwoman who refused to shrink.

I chose courage over fear, truth over approval, and purpose over comfort. And if my story can inspire even one person to rise, to own their truth, and to dream without limits, then every battle I’ve fought has been worth it.”
